“The Women’s Congress” Heads To Boston in March, Largest Business Conference & Marketplace for Women in the U.S. Announces Lineup of Renowned Women as Keynotes

The Women’s Congress (TWC), the largest business-to-business conference and exhibition for women in the U.S., today announced several prominent  keynote speakers for the two-day event. Sharon Allen, Chairman of the Board of Deloitte & Touche USA, and Maria Otero, President and CEO of ACCION International and one of Newsweek’s “20 of the most influential women in the United States” will present the opening keynote addresses on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. Sheila C. Johnson, co-Founder of Black Entertainment Television and currently CEO of Salamander Hospitality and partner in Lincoln Holdings, will deliver the keynote address in a rare area appearance on Friday, March 30. The event will also feature such keynotes as Mary Wilson, former “Supreme” and Jean Chatzky, well-known journalist, author, financial expert, and motivational speaker. In addition to these presenters, the conference will offer a wide range of interactive educational sessions from more than 100 distinguished speakers, with tracks focused on corporate leadership and diversity, business start up and growth, and non-profit success strategies.

The conference program will consist of cutting-edge and practical educational content focused on various business careers, including entrepreneurs, small business owners, corporate executives, non-profit leaders and fundraising, and government. Each track will contain sessions covering sales, marketing, finance, technology, human resource management and leadership topics. The conference program will feature a track keynote to start the program and three breakout sessions with concurrent sessions from which to choose.  The conference program will also includes networking breaks throughout the day to schedule appointments with exhibitors and learn about hundreds of business solutions featured in the exhibition.

Education is the primary focus of TWC and the exhibition area is no exception.  Sponsors and exhibitors will educate attendees on innovative products and services while demonstrating how to improve their business.  Shorter education sessions will take place in the exhibition hall all day, geared to attendees who cannot make it to a full day of conference sessions.
